Much like the DC Model from a years back, they have opted for the silver body over the gold. The reel itself seems to have lost a few millimetres on each side, creating a smaller, compact, palm sized body. This compact design is sure to help the overall control and handling of the reel. There is nothing worse that a large, bulky baitcaster stuck on what would otherwise be a ultra light graphite rod.
They have also designed the new model for Saltwater use. While I know for a fact the old models still stood the test of time in the salt, its good to know Shimano is continually steering their ranges away from solely freshwater/bass fishing and into the mainstream Salt angler market.
The star drag has been replaced with with the new Shimano X-drag, a lower profile graphite drag knob with click adjustment. Looks simple enough, but I’m sure anglers with larger digits might find it a bit cumbersome. Drag capacity is much the same as the older models, running in at 4kgs and 5kgs respectively. The wiffel spool is a welcome addition and no doubt will assist in casting those lighter lures.
Priced above the old B series but below the DC, these are retailing currently in Japan for approx $420AUD. For the extra money you are at least getting a few more features including a new look, additional bearings a reduced body size.
Available in 4 sizes, the 100, 101 Left hand, 200 and 201 Left hand models. Not 100% if these will be released in Australia just yet, but there is the possibility of a slight variation of it being released for the Australian market later this year at AFTA but time will tell.

       這個200的輪子的剎車系統確實是很強，我曾經使用200來釣過Yellowtail在釣Colica Bass的時候，感覺根本就不遜色於其它的那些釣大魚的輪子。可是這個輪子和其他的200一下的輪子都一樣，都有一個我很不喜歡的特點，我叫做BUG，就是當出線的時候它們的導線器是不動的。。。

我想买一颗左手的。这个可以轮子用途还挺广的。可以用在surf，可以甩大的swimbait。等出来了，看看具体的数据。话说，你觉得conquest怎么样。

       Conquest當然是個不錯的輪子，但是我們要知道，這個輪子他們是設計來船釣用的，為了底釣時出線更加的快，Conquest的側系統中是沒有普通Calcutta中的智能剎車系統的，比較適合於日本的淺海底釣。。。就我個人來說，我非常不建議使用200以下的Calcutta來沙灘釣，很不好用，回線太慢等等，下次去沙灘釣的時候我可以帶過去給您試試。。。在淡水中拋投大的Swinbait還說得過去，不過我覺得300或400的會更好用些。

我现在海钓的装备一堆一堆的，淡水和滩钓装备太少，所以想买可以兼顾的装备。像我那个pluton，可以用来甩deep crankbait，swimbait，也可以滩钓halibut和perch，感觉很不错。

       其实如果是想要抛投Minnow或是铅笔什么的钓Halibut的话，2500的纺车轮加30磅布线再加1尺半的15磅碳线，9尺～12尺的碳竿。。。

       Popper当然可以钓到大鱼了，呵呵，我个人也很喜欢，晚上的效果会更加好些。等天气热些的时候如果有凤尾鱼或者是沙丁鱼靠过来的话，假饵的效率比真饵效率高多了，如鲣鱼，甚至还有White Sea Bass什么的。
